Honeydew Mazes has been in operation for 8 years. We have hosted events for companies and schools and charities, car launches and computer companies, insurance and banking, school teachers and university students, book clubs and car clubs, everyone has fun at the maze!
 
Welcome back to 2012. We are open this week-end 14th January, in the Elemental Maze.
Our new maize maze is planted, and growing beautifully, we should open mid-Feb, will keep you posted. If you have no idea what I am talking about, then click on the Giant Mazes for all the information!

We were voted 2nd best thing to do with Kids(Action) in the new Leisure Options readers choice awards magazine. Gold reef city won, wish we had their budget!
We are open to the general public at week-ends and public holidays. NO BOOKING REQUIRED AT WEEK-ENDS! OPEN 10AM-5PM, LAST TICKET SALES AT 2.30PM.
Costs on week-ends: R90 per adult and R65 per child(under 15). Family ticket, 2+2 = R280. We do take credit and debit cards.
We host birthday parties for children and many birthday parties for adults. This is a wonderful place, with beautiful big trees for family get-togethers and picnics. Fun for all ages, it is a family venue, where parents, grand-parents, teenagers and children can all have fun getting lost together.
We are located just off Beyers Naude in Honeydew. Please see the bottom of this page for a map and directions.

Please note that no dogs are allowed on the property as we have our own dogs, and we have free-ranging geese, ducks, chickens and cows! Picnics allowed on Sunday's, no braais.
Please remember to wear comfortable shoes! This is an outdoor activity!

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE MAZE - WHAT DOES EVERYONE DO HERE??????
Our main attraction is a giant maze. (for pictures and more detailed information, see menu on left of this screen). This can be either our Elemental maze constructed from reeds which is open June-December, or our maize maze which is open February-June(mielies are a seasonal crop!).
  
Your group will go into the maze in teams(made up of your group members). Maximum team size is about 4 people, so everyone can have fun and be involved in the decision making process and see and answer the quiz. YES, there is a quiz in the giant maze. Just for fun, we have questions to suit everyone. Everyone wins an iced lolly as a prize after handing in their answer sheets. No googling allowed, and it is just for fun, so don't stress about it!
After your group has completed the giant maze, there are fun puzzles and games to be done in the courtyard area. Most families/groups are with us about 3-4 hours minimum, but you are welcome to stay longer!
The Courtyard area has smaller mazes and puzzles. A challenge for everyone!
